March 16, 2017:
After almost a full month of traveling, the last stop on the Kong: Skull Island press tour was in China. Jing Tian joined Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Samuel L. Jackson for the final red carpet premiere at the World Trade Center Tower III in Beijing. Jing was born in China and graduated from the the Beijing Dance Academy and Beijing Film Academy.
There was a funny moment when they all pretended that Kong was going to eat them.
Brie was brave enough to test out the fear box. Same girl, same! The spider represents one of the many monsters on Skull Island.
More China put together a beautiful montage for Tom with interviews, red carpet footage from the premiere, career highlights, and other behind the scenes video.
"I still don't quite know what it means to be a star, I never expected to have fans anywhere, if I'm honest. My dream as a child was to make a living as an actor. Everybody said it was impossible. Being an actor was competitive and there was too many actors for a very small number of roles and films. All my teachers advised me to do something else, to train for another profession. I loved storytelling. I watched films and plays and I wanted to be in them because they were exciting."
And of course, no premiere is complete without a little dancing.
Tom Hiddleston was very active on social media for the China leg of the tour and shared several pictures on his Weibo and Instagram accounts.
Loki is a very popular tourist attraction. Mark Ruffalo also paid the God of Mischief a visit the previous year.
Fashion:
Tom wore a DIY plaid Gucci suit.
