Academy of Country Music Awards (2016)

My biggest complaint about the I Saw the Light promotion is that they did the bare minimum to promote the film to country music fans who would have been the main target audience. There was no film special on our country music channels - only short clips. None of the songs Tom Hiddleston recorded were released to country radio (but songs were released in the UK). The most southern area Tom visited during the promo tour was Washington, DC. There was a premiere in Nashville but that was a full five months before the film hit theaters etc etc... but a week after I Saw the Light was released Tom Hiddleston headed to Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. 

Along with this being Tom's first time attending the ACM Awards, it was also his first time ever in Las Vegas. I guess him and Chris Hemsworth didn't have any brocations to Sin City during Thor filming. 

So Thomas, out of all the celebrated country music artists performing tonight who are you excited to see? I heard Nick Jonas was going to be here. I think he's really talent. *face palm*

Tom presented Jason Aldean with the Entertainer of the Year Award. 

Fashion:

Tom Hiddleston wore a Burberry Puppy Tooth Cotton Wool linen jacket and black trousers. 

The look was reminiscent of the Armani outfit he wore to the Glamour Awards in 2013 - sans leather tie sadly. 

Tom also wore a pocket square from WRKNY. As well as his Christian Louboutin Greggo Flatt shoes.
