May 8, 2016:
Tom Hiddleston attended the BAFTA TV Awards for the first time. The awards were held at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Wolf Hall was nominated for the most awards and Tom's sister, Emma Hiddleston, played a small role in the series.
A look at Tom arriving and the heavy security around him on the red carpet.
This young interviewer is the real MVP for asking Tom about his suit and "underarm tape" on the red carpet. The Night Manager wasn't eligible for the 2016 Awards and it was heavily hinted that TNM would score multiple nomination in 2017... but of course there was only one single nomination for the show, because BAFTA has always overlooked Tom Hiddleston's work.
Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba have long had their names thrown around to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond. The two actors and Thor co-stars played up their rivalry at the show.
Host Graham Norton couldn't pass up an opportunity to discuss the Hiddlesbum.
"Thanks to his fantastic performance in The Night Manager, poor Donald Trump was only the second most talked about arse of the year!"
Tom presented the Best Actress award to Suranne Jones for her role in Doctor Foster.
After the show is the after party! DJ T-Hiddy managed the night right in the dj booth and on the dance floor.
