Tom Hiddleston attended the London premiere for Life of Pi in Leicester Square. Life of Pi tells the story of of a young man who survives a disaster at sea... along with a Bengal tiger! Tom Hiddleston's appearance was something of a surprise since he wasn't in the film or connected to anyone in the film. But Tom has mentioned several times in interviews and on social media that Life of Pi is one of his favorite books. He also mentioned his excitement for the film ahead of the 2012 release. The perks of being a famous fan!
After the premiere, Tom praised the film on his Facebook page: LIFE OF PI is absolutely beautiful. By turns wild, colourful, fun, poetic, inspiring, expansive, mysterious and deep. Like the sea.
